TUSD is a one-to-one device district. In elementary school, this means all students are issued an iPad, charging cable, and USB wall charger.
A few important things to know:
- Be sure that the charging cable and USB wall charger are used to charge the iPad. If they get lost, come to the school to purchase replacements.
- We issue apple chargers used for the iPad and if non-apple chargers are turned in, they won't be accepted and you'll be charged the replacement fee.
IPad insurance is available until September 17. It only costs $32 for the entire year to protect your child's iPad. This covers cracked screens and much more. It can cost almost $400 to replace an iPad. Insurance is worth it!
